A crash involving multiple vehicles and a fire has stalled traffic on Interstate 24.
The wreck happened in the eastbound lanes near Exit 44B for Interstate 65 North around 10 p.m. Sunday.
Photos from the scene showed a car on fire. Authorities had not released details on the cause of the crash or any injuries that may have been involved.
The roadway was closed to eastbound traffic. Westbound traffic was not affected.
Crews estimated the roadway would be cleared by midnight.
