A crash involving an overturned vehicle shut down a portion of Interstate 40.
The wreck happened in the eastbound lanes around 5:26 p.m. Saturday near mile marker 211 where Interstate 40 joins with Interstate 24 just southeast of downtown Nashville.
The roadway was closed to eastbound traffic. Authorities said westbound traffic was not affected.
Crews confirmed the roadway was cleared by 6:10 p.m.
