NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A large downed tree has Lebanon Pike shutdown near Lynmeade Drive. The tree crashed down onto a power line sometime during the overnight storms.

It doesn't appear anyone was hurt. Police remain at the scene keeping it blocked off.

Lebanon Pike was blocked all throughout the Wednesday morning commute leading to big traffic backups. Drivers heading into Nashville can use Briley Parkway to I-40. Briley Parkway to I-65 on the north side of town is also an option. Drivers can also use McGavock and Elm Hill Pikes.

If drivers are heading back towards Donelson and Hermitage, they can take Elm Hill Pike to Briley Parkway or McGavock Pike.

It's unclear how long it will take to remove the tree and downed lines.
