Traffic has been slow on several interstates and highways around Music City this weekend.
Part of that was due to lane closures on Interstate 65. Authorities said several lanes had been shut down and were scheduled to be closed most of the weekend while crews with the Tennessee Department of Transportation re-stripe and install new overhead signs.

Only one lane was open going north from Fern Avenue to the Briley Parkway intersection, and southbound was also down to one lane from Briley Parkway to the Interstate 24 intersection.
The lanes have been scheduled to be closed until noon Sunday.
Multiple crashes also caused slowdowns in the area.
One of those happened around 11:45 p.m. Friday on Interstate 65 near the Metro Center exit north of the city. That crash closed a portion of the interstate for several hours overnight.
At least three vehicles were involved, but only minor injuries were reported. The crash was cleared overnight.
