One driver has been arrested following a crash involving an overturned semi that delayed traffic headed east on Interstate 24.
The wreck happened around 10:49 a.m. Wednesday in Robertson County in the eastbound lanes of the interstate near Exit 24 for State Route 49, Springfield, and Ashland City.
Officials said the semi was being driven by 39-year-old Chad D. Cherry, of Kaufman, Texas.
Cherry was treated and released from Skyline Medical Center.
He has been charged with a DUI and booked into the Robertson County Jail.
Those with the Tennessee Department of Transportation said the left lane was blocked to eastbound drivers. Westbound traffic was not affected.
Crews estimated the roadway would be cleared by 4 p.m.
