It has been an area of Interstate 65 known for its bottleneck, and it’s about to get a little more congested.
Some lane closures have been planned on Interstate 65 Northbound in the Peytonsville Road/Goose Creek Bypass area in Williamson County.
Those were slated to start at 8 p.m. Friday and last through 5 a.m. Saturday.
Northbound traffic on the interstate in that area was set to be reduced to one lane in order for crews to pave and restripe the road.
Officials said other lane closures have been planned in the near future for the southbound side of the interstate in that area.
