A crash involving a motorcycle closed some lanes of Interstate 40.
The wreck happened in the eastbound lanes of the interstate near mile marker 215 between Briley Parkway and Donelson Pike around 1:50 p.m. Sunday.
Officials confirmed injuries were involved, but they had not released specific details about the crash.
Those with the Tennessee Department of Transportation said the right lanes had been blocked to eastbound drivers. Westbound traffic was not affected.
Crews said the roadway was cleared just before 3 p.m.
