A crash involving multiple vehicles has closed several lanes on Interstate 24.
The wreck happened around 2:54 p.m. Sunday in the westbound lanes of the interstate near mile marker 56, south of downtown Nashville.
Details had not been released concerning the cause of the crash or if any injuries were involved.
Those with the Tennessee Department of Transportation said only one lane of traffic was open to westbound drivers. Eastbound traffic was not affected.
Crews said the roadway was cleared shortly after 4 p.m.
