A road has been closed in Madison due to a gas leak.
Those with Metro Public Works said the leak happened near Nesbitt Lane.
That roadway has been closed from Gallatin Pike to Heritage Glen Drive.
Details were not released concerning the gas leak.
Authorities said detours were put in place for drivers in that area. They added the closure has been expected to last through Saturday.
