A road was partially closed in Franklin after a person was hit by a vehicle on Carothers Parkway.
The incident happened Wednesday evening in the 6000 block of the parkway according to officials with the Franklin Police Department.
Authorities said southbound Carothers had been closed between Innovation and Tower Circle due to the crash. One lane reopened shortly after the wreck, but officials still advised drivers to avoid the area.
The roadway completely reopened before 6 p.m.
The extent of any injuries involved was unknown.
The investigation remained ongoing at the scene.
