For anyone with weekend travel plans in the Clarksville area, those with the Tennessee Department of Transportation warned Interstate 24 will be closed in both directions again.
The closure has been scheduled to start at 8 p.m. Friday and last through 3 a.m. Monday.
The interstate will be shut down at Exit 8, for Rossview Road.
Drivers will be diverted to the on ramps and exit ramps, and in order to help with that congestion, Rossview Road will be blocked at that intersection.
Crews have planned to mill and pave the interstate.
