A crash involving multiple vehicles, including a semi, reduced traffic to one lane on Interstate 40 in Davidson County.
Officials said the crash happened in the westbound lanes near mile marker 209, just west of downtown, around 9:07 p.m. Friday.
There was no word on what caused the crash or on the extent of any injuries that may have been involved.
Those with the Tennessee Department of Transportation said westbound traffic was reduced to one lane. Eastbound drivers were not affected.
Crews said the roadway was clear by 10:34 p.m.
