NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Heads up bus riders. There are major changes coming to downtown bus routes this week because of a road closure on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
The closure is on MLK Boulevard between 5th and 6th Avenue. Seven routes will have to detour around it.
Routes 3, 5, 7 and 8 will leave WeGo Central and detour to Rosa Parks at James Robertson Parkway before continuing its regular route.
Route 17 and 50 will leave the bus station and detour to MLK and James Robertson before heading on and Route 96 will meet back up around the detour at Union and 4th Avenue.
These changes will be in place all week long. If you use the free Transit App, it will be updated with this information.
