NASHVILLE, Tenn. - One person has been arrested, while two additional suspects remain at large, in connection with a vehicle theft from a local dealership overnight.

The ordeal began around 11 p.m. Tuesday, at the Auto Masters on Gallatin Pike in Madison.

Surveillance video from the business showed a suspect, identified as 20-year-old Donta Fryson, and four other people allegedly breaking into the business and rummaging through sets of keys.

Officials with Metro Police said they stole a Jeep, along with five other pairs of car keys. The clerk showed up later and was able to locate the stolen SUV through a GPS.

Police tracked the Jeep to a Walmart located three miles north.

Officials set up spike strips and called in a K-9 unit, where they waited for the suspects to leave the store.

As the suspects got into the vehicle, investigators moved in and were able to take Fryson and two others into custody, one of which was a juvenile.

Fryson was the only person arrested in connection with the incident. He was booked into the Metro Jail on charges of burglary, vehicle theft over $10,000 but less than $60,000, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Two additional suspects were believed to still be at large.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
