2 Arrested, 2 Cited After Prostitution Investigation In Cool Springs

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Police arrested two women in connection to prostitution in Cool Springs.

Authorities said 49-year-old Edith F. Massie and 27-year-old Charly D. Lewis, both of Illinois, were taken into custody and charged with prostitution and promoting prostitution.

Officers acting on a tip responded to a hotel on Bakers Bridge Avenue around 2:30 p.m. Friday and observed traffic in and out of the hotel which they said was consistent with prostitution.

Two men were also cited for patronizing prostitution. They were identified as 26-year-old John D. Proctor of Eagleville and 41-year-old Cornell Creciun III of Nolensville.

All four were expected to appear in court at 1 p.m. May 14.

Officials said they also seized Massie’s 2007 GMC Yukon at the time of her arrest.

Massie and Lewis had both been taken to jail on a $17,500 bond.
