2 Killed After Car Crashes Into Kentucky Creek

ALLENSVILLE, Ky. – Two people died after their car crashed into a creek in Todd County, Kentucky.

Officials said a man and woman were traveling in a vehicle near Elk Fork Creek, near the town of Allensville.

The driver was crossing a bridge when he or she had to swerve to miss a car in the wrong lane. The vehicle somehow left the roadway and went into the water.

Two bodies have been recovered.

Dive teams were searching to make sure no one else was in the car.

The victims' names have not been released.
