July 4th Celebrations and Events in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky

Rain has forced the cancelation for some fireworks and Independence Day celebrations around the area. We'll update this list as we get additional information. 


BEDFORD COUNTY

Bell Buckle - Fourth of July Celebration in Bell Buckle
Date: Friday, July 4, reschedule to Sunday, July in the event of rain
Time: 5-9:30 p.m. Fireworks follow reading of Declaration of Independence at 9 p.m.
Location: Bell Buckle Park
Cost: Free admission

Shelbyville
Date: Friday, July 4
Time: 5-9 p.m.
Independence Day activitied planned for H.V. Griffin Park have been canceled due to forecasted weather conditions. The show has been postponed until Labor Day. 


CANNON COUNTY

Woodbury
Date: Friday, July 3 rescheduled to Saturday, July 11
Time: 4 p.m.
Location: Dillon Park


COFFEE COUNTY

Tullahoma
Date: The Tullahoma Kiwanis Club has rescheduled Friday's fireworks show for Saturday. 
Time: Gates open at 5:45 p.m.
Location: Wilkins Stadium

Time: Events begin at 4:30 p.m. with fireworks starting shortly after 9 p.m.

Nashville - Music City Hot Chicken Festival
Date: Saturday, July 4
Time: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Location: East Park, 700 Woodland Street
Cost: The event begins at with a parade of fire trucks at 10:30 a.m. at the corner of 8th and Woodland. Free Hot Chicken samples will be given out to the first 500 people in line.

Date: Rescheduled for July 5
Time: 9:15 p.m.
Location: Officials in Franklin have asked residents to view the fireworks from places other than the Park at Harlinsdale. They said the weather made the ground there too soft to accommodate a crowd.

Nolensville
Date: July 5
Time: Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with fireworks following
