NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Traffic was backed up on the west side of Nashville after a vehicle overturned on the interstate.
The wreck happened in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 near mile marker 201 around 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
Traffic was backed up for miles as police remained on the scene of the rollover crash.
Details were not released as far as the cause of the wreck or if any injuries were involved.
According to those with the Tennessee Department of Transportation, traffic was down to one lane for a while, then crews opened some of the roadway leaving only one lane blocked.
The roadway was cleared just before 10 p.m.
