FRANKLIN, Tenn. - The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office released video Tuesday showing a recent arrest that went wrong.
The dash cam video shows the arrest of a man who escaped custody Monday after a traffic stop on State Route 840.
Deputies attempted to take Michael Rose into custody on outstanding warrants when a struggle began.
At one point Rose fought so hard he even tried to drag the deputies into oncoming traffic.
The deputies were eventually able to get handcuffs on him and place him in the patrol car. The locking mechanism wasn't set properly on the door and Rose was able to slipped the cuffs in front of him and run away.
He was found about three hours later near Highway 96 in Rutherford County.
