PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. - An East Tennessee icon celebrated turning 30!
Dollywood marked its 30th anniversary Friday with a concert featuring the theme park's namesake, Dolly Parton.
The East Tennessee-native performed several of her hit songs and also took part in the annual Homecoming parade.
The park began its life as Silver Dollar City, but Parton put her name on it back in 1986.
Dollywood has been the state's largest ticketed attraction with 2.5 million visitors every year.
