MILLERSVILLE, Tenn. – An autopsy is planned for Tuesday on a man found dead in a Sumner County home Sunday night.
Millersville Police were called to the home on Flat Ridge road around 10 p.m. They found 49-year-old Leo Jackson dead inside. His son, 21-year-old Dallas Jackson was unconscious.
Police say Dallas was found badly beaten. He is now being treated at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Officials with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Leo's mother was inside the home and called 911 to report a domestic disturbance. She told NewsChannel 5 she believes her son committed suicide. Family friends say Leo had a hard time after his father's death.
Investigators remained on the scene Monday and were working to process evidence in the case.
The death investigation remains ongoing.
