BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A 16-year-old Kentucky teenager has been found safe in Maine after being reported missing at the beginning of the week.
Officials with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday that Emily Bryant Rhodes and David Harvey have been found in Kennebec County, Maine.
Officials there have confirmed to local authorities that she is safe.
According to investigators, charges are expected to be filed in the case.
Rhodes was reported missing Monday after she reportedly left her Bowling Green residence voluntarily. She was thought to be with Harvey.
Because of Harvey's criminal history they said she could be in danger. The 20-year-old was wanted by the sheriff's office on a warrant from an unrelated case.
No additional details were released. The investigation remains ongoing.
