CHRISTIANA, Tenn. – A woman currently seven months pregnant was injured, along with her male passenger, in a crash in Rutherford County.
The incident happened Monday night on Manchester Pike near Hoovers Gap Road in Christiana.
Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said a vehicle being driven by 23-year-old Selby L. Lacewell was traveling southbound when it exited the right side of the roadway, traveled down an embankment and into a creek. The car eventually stopped in a field.
Both Lacewell and her passenger, 22-year-old Michael Martin, were taken by ground to an area hospital.
She received prenatal care as a precautionary treatment.
Lacewell was charged with driving on a revoked license and driving without insurance.
No other details were known.
