NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Cities and counties in the area have released their rules and regulations for fireworks this holiday weekend.

  • Cities have their own
  • Unincorporated County: LEGAL

BRENTWOOD

  • NO FIREWORKS (unless a supervised/permitted display)

FRANKLIN

  • ILLEGAL

 

WILSON CO

  • June 20-July 5
  • No particular hours

LEBANON

  • 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. through July 5

MT JULIET

  • June 20-July 5
  • 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
  • Children must be supervised by adults

 

RUTHERFORD CO

  • NO RESTRICTIONS

LAVERGNE

  • June 21-July 7 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.
  • July 4 9 a.m. - July 5 1 a.m.

MURFREESBORO

  • June 28-July 5
  • 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.  (extended on July 4 to 11 p.m.)

SMYRNA

  • July 3, 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.
  • July 4, 9 a.m. - July 5, 1 a.m.
  • July 5, 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.

 

SUMNER CO

  • NO RESTRICTIONS (check individual cities)

GALLATIN

  • NO FIREWORKS

HENDERSONVILLE

  • NO FIREWORKS

 

CHEATHAM CO

  • 11 a.m. - 12 a.m.
  • Sheriff says if it's a nuisance then it will be considered disturbing the peace.
  • July 4: A little leeway
  • Cities may have ordinances

 

ROBERTSON CO

  • NO RESTRICTIONS (check individual cities)

 

MONTGOMERY CO

  • NO RESTRICTIONS (check individual cities)
