MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The YMCA of Middle Tennessee has been continuing efforts to financially restructure by closing another site.
The Rutherford County YMCA in Murfreesboro has been set to close its doors for good in early August.
This followed five other location closures in the mid-state since 2013.
A spokesperson said the North Rutherford YMCA in Smyrna would stay open, and many of the Y's programs would continue, just in other places like local schools and community centers.
