The date for the 19th annual Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl has been set for December 30.
Kickoff has been scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on that Friday. This is the fourth consecutive year that the game has been played on December 30.
This will also be the third year featuring teams from the Southeastern Conference (SEC) against the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) or Big Ten Conference.
“As we enter our seventh year as the Bowl’s title sponsor, we continue to be impressed with the nationwide recognition the game brings not only to our company, but to the numerous Bowl-related charities we support as well,” said Dan Crockett, Franklin American Mortgage Company President/CEO.
Last year, the Louisville Cardinals defeated the Texas A&M Aggies 27-21. The game brought 50,478 fans to Nissan Stadium.
