'Forever Country' video features dozens of the biggest country music performers

Posted

Making the rounds on social media is a special video promoting the upcoming 50th Country Music Association Awards.

The "Forever Country" video, posted last month to the CMA Country Music Association Facebook page, features 30 of the music genre's most popular performers, including Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Sugarland, Miranda Lambert, George Strait, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton and many, many more. The stars are seen together in a field at the end of the video.

The performers sing a mashup of John Denver's "Take Me Home, Country Roads," Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again" and Dolly Parton's 1973 original, "I Will Always Love You." The video originally debuted to the public on Sept. 20 but is picking up social shares as the CMAs approach.

The CMAs, which has a logo of "Then. Now. Forever Country.", will air Wednesday, Nov. 2. Watch the video here.
