One man has been arrested and another remained at-large in the murder of a 20-year-old.
On Saturday, February 24, the body of 20-year-old Charlie Brown, Jr. was found in a grassy area next to a home at the foot of a pedestrian bridge that crosses over Interstate 40 near 26th Avenue North and Alameda Street.

Friday night, authorities confirmed Tamarrius Portis was taken into custody in the murder.
Remaining on the run in the case was Jonathan Chatman. Anyone with information on Chatman’s whereabouts has been urged to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
