One man has been taken into custody after a driver was shot and killed in Clarksville. Police said two more suspects remain at large in the case.
Clarksville police said Cedrick Davaughn Stacker, age 23, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail Tuesday night and charged with criminal homicide in the death of Antorious Gallion.
Police said they’re also looking for Vincent Bryan "Rabbit" Merriweather, age 26, and Marques Lamarr "Cheez" Kelly, age 25.
The call initially came in as a wreck with injuries around 7:40 p.m. Monday. When officers arrived on the scene, they found the driver – Gallion – had been shot.
Police said the vehicle had been shot at multiple times from another vehicle and ended up flipping in the area of Raleigh Court.
Gallion was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he later died. Two other people in the vehicle weren’t seriously hurt.
Police said an investigation found that the victims had been involved in an earlier altercation with Stacker, Merriweather and Kelly.
The suspects reportedly got in a dark-colored, Ford Taurus and chased Gallion's vehicle while firing multiple times at it on Warfield Boulevard.
Merriweather is 6'0 tall and weighs 185 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Police said Kelly is 5'10 tall with black hair and black eyes and is currently on parole.
Both men should be considered armed and dangerous. Police said all three have previous criminal histories involving drugs and weapons charges.
