Clarksville Police are investigating a homicide after a driver was found with gunshot wounds at the scene of a rollover crash Monday night.

Officers were called to a crash in the area of Warfield Boulevard and Raleigh Court at about 7:40p.m. Monday. When officers arrived, they said they realized the vehicle had been shot several times. They discovered the driver also had a gunshot wound.

The driver, a male in his 20s, was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

There were two passengers inside the car. One was taken to the hospital with back pain. The other was just shaken up.

Clarksville Police said they are working solid leads in the case. They believe the suspects were not strangers to the victims.

Warfield Boulevard is closed between Ted Crozier and Stokes Road Tuesday morning as officers continue investigating the homicide. It's unclear when the road will reopen to traffic.
