NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — No injuries were reported after a hit-and-run crash involving a Metro Nashville school bus.
Metro police tell NewsChannel 5 the hit-and-run took place at Whites Creek Pike and Moormans Arm in Whites Creek.
25 students were on board at the time of the collision. It's unclear to which school the bus was headed.
Officials said a car hit the bus in the rear, backed up, then went around the bus and drove off.
Due to safety, Metro Schools said they couldn't immediately unload students because it happened in the middle of an intersection.
All students were reported safe and were later taken to school.
