LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 3-month-old, whom police say was neglected to the “brink of death,” continues to fight for her life after she was allegedly beaten.

Baby Addilyn remains hospitalized as she continues to recover from massive injuries, including internal bleeding. She’s now dealing with bleeding on the brain and seizures.

However, NewsChannel 5 has learned that Addilyn has shown improvement.

Meanwhile, the District Attorney says the prosecution will move forward against both parents.

Michael Fisher, age 30, is charged with attempted first-degree murder, while Brooklyn Tidwell, age 27, is charged with aggravated child neglect.

A police affidavit alleged that Fisher abused the child to the "brink of death."

For now, their parental rights have been severed. A guardian ad litem is now in place to look out for the best interests of the child as she recovers.

A GoFundMe account called "Hope for Addilyn" was created to help cover her medical bills and other expenses.
