NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Here's what is happening this week around the Music City.

Mayoral Runoff Debate - Belmont University
Monday, 7 p.m.

NewsChannel 5, The Tennessean and Belmont University are hosting a mayoral debate ahead of the September 12 runoff election.

The debate will take place at 7 p.m. at Belmont's Troutt Theater. It will air live in its entirety on NewsChannel 5 and be streamed on NewsChannel5.com.

The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. Tickets can be accessed through Belmont University at belmont.edu/mayoraldebate.

Live on the Green - Downtown Nashville
Thursday - Sunday

The final days of Live on the Green are this week. The free concert series at Public Square Park will host dozens of artists over Labor Day Weekend.

PDK Southern Kitchen & Pantry - Bellevue
Thursday, 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Nashville Predator's mascot Gnash will make a special appearance to celebrate PDK's one year anniversary in Bellevue.

The event will have prize giveaways, specials, raffle drawings and a hot chicken eating contest to crown PDK's first Hot Chicken Champion.

Peter Frampton Finale - Downtown Nashville
Thursday, 7:30 p.m.

Peter Frampton's farewell tour comes to Nashville this week after his June concert was rescheduled due to weather. This will be his last tour and last show in Nashville. Frampton will be joined by Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Evening at Ascend Amphitheater.

Nashville Zoo at Grassmere - South Nashville
Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This Friday is the final Kroger Safari Fridays of the year. Kroger Plus Card members can get one free ticket at the zoo with the purchase of another ticket.
