NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Three new non-stop routes are coming to Nashville's BNA airport. Sun County Airlines has announced seasonal routes from Nashville to Los Angeles, Portland, Oregon and Providence, Rhode Island.
Service starts on April 8th, 2019 for LA and Providence, and on May 2nd, 2019 for Portland. LA and Providence will see round-trip flights on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Portland flights will begin on just Thursdays and Sundays, with Mondays and Fridays added on June 6th.
There's no word on when these seasonal flights will end.
The company is offering limited time fares on these flights for tickets purchased before January 15th on their website.
“Today’s announcement of three additional routes from Sun Country Airlines is great news for Nashville and our entire region,” said Doug Kreulen, Nashville International Airport president and CEO. “Our passengers can now fly nonstop to Portland, Oregon, a destination that has been a top domestic target for many months. Providence, Rhode Island, is also a new destination for BNA, and additional LAX service creates competition in the market with more flight options, which often leads to lower rates. We appreciate Sun Country’s commitment to BNA and look forward to its continual growth in Nashville.”
