NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The man shot at a Nashville O'Reilly Auto Parts store was released from the hospital and booked into jail.

Antonio Parham, 26, was shot while walking up to the auto store on Jefferson Street carrying a shotgun.

Police say Parham went to the store with 29-year-old Artie Thomas who allegedly had an argument with an O'Reily employee earlier that day.

The employee, Tony Wray, saw the men approaching the store - Parham with the shotgun in his hands - and pulled his own gun, shooting Parham through the store's glass. He was hit in the chest and fell to the pavement.

On Tuesday, Parham was discharged from Vanderbilt University Medical Center booked into jail on charges of aggravated assault and unlawful gun possession by a convicted felon.

Thomas is facing a charge of aggravated assault for acting in concert with Parham. He has not yet been arrested, and officers are still trying to find him.
