NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Little baby Addilyn continues to recover from a horrific case of child abuse and now she's hoping to help another small child get better.
Lawrenceburg police said she was beaten so badly she nearly died back in January. Both of her parents have been charged in the case.
Now Addilyn is trying to share some of her amazing strength with another small child.
Zander – or Baby Z as he's now known – was severely injured when he and his mother were involved in an auto wreck in Wayne County back in April.
Like Addilyn, he suffered a severe brain injury and is fighting to survive. So, Addilyn visited him in the hospital.
Their families are so thankful for all the thoughts and prayers from so many people who have seen the story. They hope both children fully recover and grow they say to be best friends forever.
