New information has been released concerning two bodies found in burned cars in Cheatham County.
On Sunday, officials said both of the victims were from the Nashville area.
They added they believe the bodies were only taken to Cheatham County to be disposed of.
Both bodies were found within less than a month of each other in September near River Road.
A spokesperson for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said they have not been able to confirm if the two cases were connected. No one has been taken into custody.
Officials with the Cheatham County Sheriff's Office also said they wanted to calm the public's fears. They confirmed messages circulating on social media concerning a possible third body were only rumors and were not true.
