NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Country music fans from all over the world go to Broadway for live music and libations, but getting locals into the bars is not as easy.

Bootleggers Inn on Broadway at 3rd Avenue is hoping a promotion brings in more Nashville residents.

"This was something we sat down and brainstormed about," said Cailee Nace of Cumberland Hospitality Group.

Cumberland Hospitality Group is the hospitality management company that operates the venue on Broadway.

Through December 5, patrons of Bootleggers have a chance to get a free beer. The 100 Years 100 Beers campaign recognizes the 100th Anniversary of the start of Prohibition.

"It's what we're founded on and our bar is themed on," said Nace.

If your beer bottle has a silver star on the bottom the next beer is on the house. Because the campaign is several weeks long, the honky-tonk is hopeful Nashvillians will head to Broadway to check them out.
