D.A. To Seek Life Without Parole In Church Shooting Case

The Nashville District Attorney’s Office announced it would be seeking life without the possibility of parole for accused Antioch church shooter, Emanuel K. Samson.  

Samson is accused of killing Melanie Crow Smith injuring several others at the Burnette Chapel Church of Christ in the shooting on September 24, 2017.

If convicted, Samson could also face additional sentencing for the remaining 42 counts of the indictment. Under court order, all other information in this case remains sealed.
