DICKSON, Tenn. (WTVF) — The giant sinkhole that opened up along Highway 46 in Dickson more than a year ago has received its fair share of attention.

It's forced at least one business to move and causes flooding in another each time it rains.

A lawsuit has even been filed to figure out whose responsibility it is to fix it.

And while the rain has let up for now, Meraki Designs and Boutique in Dickson has come up with a way to commemorate Dickson's "unwelcome resident."

The store is selling "Dickson Sinkhole Kayak Team" t-shirts that poke fun at the size of the sinkhole. Some of the proceeds from each shirt sold goes to the Dickson Humane Society.

"We just figured it'd be an opportunity to do something good with it," said Andrea Gribbins, one of the store's owners.

The shop also sells "Dickson Sinkhole" tourist stickers.
