RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — This is why we say it over and over: don't drive through flooded roads.
Rutherford County Water Rescue teams were called out to Sulfur Springs Road at 7 a.m. Saturday morning after a driver drove around a barricade and attempted to drive through a flooded street.
It didn't work out, and the car became stranded.
Rescue crews were able to safely rescue the people in the car.
We've said it once in this story, but twice is better: don't drive through flooded roads.
