EAST NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A violent armed robbery at Edley's Bar-B-Que is caught on camera. Now, the owner is offering a reward to help catch the people responsible.

Owner Will Newman says during the 6 years the East Nashville location has been open, this was a first.

Metro Police say two men broke into the restaurant on Halloween morning through the back door.

"He walked into the office and ambushed one of my employees with a gun and the other took the money out of the safe," said Newman.

The terrifying ordeal was caught on one of the restaurant's security cameras.

"There were lots of threats made, lots of graphic descriptions to make him follow their orders and thankfully he did," said Newman, "He did everything right."

The owner says since the incident they added some new security measures with hope that it will prevent anything like this from happening again.

No one was hurt in the incident.

There is a $5,500 reward for any information leading to the arrest of these men. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (615) 74-CRIME.
