NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth ordered for Eric Munchel and his mother Lisa Eisenhart to remain in jail until trial.
Judge Lamberth reversed the previous release order in both their cases. Read full order here.
Munchel and Eisenhart were charged after taking part in the deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6.
The court ruled that the "nature and character of the charged offenses, the weight of the evidence, and the danger [they pose] to the community weigh strongly in favor of pretrial detention. The Court further finds that Eisenhart's history and characteristics weigh against pretrial detention."
