A man has been charged with murder after a woman’s body was found in Giles County.
The body of 57-year-old Sherry Darlene Wallace was found buried in the vicinity of 60-year-old Morris Edward Crook's home in Pulaski.

Wallace’s vehicle was found unoccupied on Crook's property, which prompted investigators to upgrade the investigation to a homicide. Her body was found the next day in another area of Crook's property.
Crook was charged with kidnapping after being taken into custody for questioning.
However, those charges have been upgraded to include, murder, aggravated assault, and felon in possession of a weapon.
Crook has an extensive criminal past, including convictions for aggravated kidnapping and arson.
