A 19-year-old has been arrested for allegedly shooting a man during a robbery in July in Madison.
Authorities with the Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed Thomas Devonte Pointer was taken into custody Saturday.
Officials said he reportedly robbed a man on East Palestine Avenue on July 7. He also allegedly shot the victim in the hand and leg while reaching into his pockets.
Pointer then fled from the scene and left his car and phone behind.
He has now been charged with especially aggravated robbery.
