Authorities said an accident at Smyrna Ready Mix injured two people.
The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. Saturday as fire officials said the workers were using a flammable cleaner on a dump truck when a cigarette was lit.
Two people suffered first and second degree burns. They were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center's burn center.
The small fire was outside and contained to the cleaning materials. No one else was hurt.
Officials said the truck did not catch on fire.
