Family and friends have been working to help a Mid-State man with a debilitating disease.
Nathan Ashley has been a Star Wars fan all his life, but since he was diagnosed with ALS more than two years ago, it’s been too difficult for him to move around from his bed, and he won't be able to get to a movie theater to see the new Star Wars movie.
So his friends and family have banded together to make a video that's now going viral, trying to reach out to someone who can allow him to see the new Star Wars movie from his home.
“We have to make this happen,” said Kathleen Ashley, Nathan’s wife. “I want to see that smile on his face, and for him to enjoy this movie as much as I know he will.”
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has been set to be released nationwide on December 18. Click Here to view the video his friends made for him.
