Two suspects wanted in a violent home invasion have been taken into custody after a high-speed chase in Rutherford County.
La Vergne Police officials said the ordeal began around 4 a.m. Monday with a hammer attack at the Kings Ridge Apartments in La Vergne.
One suspect was taken into custody at the scene, but two others were able to flee in a vehicle, prompting the chase.
Officials with Smyrna Police assisted and followed the suspects before they crashed near the Sam Davis Home.
Both were taken into custody. Their names were not released.
There were no reports of any injuries.
