Officials in Mt. Juliet confirmed they’ve closed the case of a missing man whose truck was found along Interstate 40.
Reports stated 61-year-old Charles Howell Brooks was found safe early Thursday morning.
Authorities said Brooks told them he was away in Chattanooga.
Brooks was reported missing on May 10 after his truck was found by police in the woods off of Interstate 40. It was still running.
No further details were available.
