One man was shot and killed in a strip mall parking lot off Murfreesboro Pike and Thompson Place, and police said they believe the shooting was targeted.
Witnesses told police they saw three male suspects who left the area in a white or silver Honda sedan right after the shooting. Police said they believe they're the suspects who opened fire on the victim.
Around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, multiple people called 911 from Murfreesboro Pike to report the sound of gunfire.
Police officers responded to the parking lot adjacent to Sheeba Restaurant and Memories Hookah Lounge in the 1000 block of Murfreesboro Pike.

The first officer on the scene found a man in his car who had been shot multiple times. The victim was later identified as 25-year-old Ammerli Josue Garcia-Munoz.
Garcia-Munoz was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in an ambulance where he was pronounced dead.
Crime scene investigators took pictures of Garcia-Munoz's red car that was riddled with bullet holes.
Hermitage precinct officers and cold case detectives filled the strip mall's parking lot to collect evidence through the morning.
